Bhadrakali Cloth Store

A family fabric shop with no website of its own. We built one that puts the shop’s fabrics online, lets customers book a counter before they come in, and turns happy customers into Google reviews with a QR card at the till.

The problem

Nobody could see the shelf before making the trip

The shop sells dress materials, sarees, blouse pieces and cloth by the metre. With no website, people searching online couldn’t see what was in stock, what it cost or when the shop was open. They called, messaged, or came in and hoped.

The fabric catalogue on a phone: filters for dress material, sarees, blouse pieces, running cloth and lining, and for occasions such as office, festive and wedding
1 · The shelf, online

Every fabric has its own page

Each of the 53 fabrics has a photo, its width, the minimum cut and a price where the shop wants one shown. Customers filter by type and by occasion (office, festive, wedding, kids) and arrive knowing what they want.

The Book a counter page on a phone: tell the shop when you are coming and what for. No payment, no deposit.
2 · Book a counter

Customers say when they’re coming, and the shop is ready

A wedding shopper picks a day and says what they’re after. The shop keeps a counter free and pulls out the silks before they arrive. No payment and no deposit; every booking gets a reference the shop can look up.

The printed counter card: How was your visit? in English and Telugu, a QR code, and three steps: scan, tap your stars, post on Google The review page on a phone after tapping four stars: Thank you. Opening Google. On Google, tap 4 stars again.
3 · Reviews at the till

From the counter to Google’s review box in one tap

A QR card on the counter opens the shop’s review page. The customer taps the stars and Google’s own review box opens by itself.

  • Every rating goes to Google. Google’s rules forbid sending only happy customers to reviews, so the page never filters by stars.
  • A private option for everyone: anyone who’d rather tell the shop something directly can message it on WhatsApp.
  • Printed on the shop’s own domain, so the card keeps working whichever company hosts the site.
4 · Run from the owner’s phone

New cloth goes online from the phone that photographed it

  • The shop’s own web app installs on the owner’s phone from the browser, no app store. New fabric goes up straight from the camera or the gallery.
  • A private studio to edit fabrics, prices and stock, see bookings, and set opening hours.
  • The site shows “Open now” or “Closed” from those hours, so nobody turns up to a locked door.
5 · Every enquiry counted

Ads are measured from day one

  • Google Ads conversion tracking counts every tap on a phone number or WhatsApp link, anywhere on the site.
  • A completed counter booking counts as its own conversion, the one worth paying for.
  • Built with Next.js and Supabase on the shop’s own domain.

What’s next

Thirty days of tracking, then the real numbers here: new Google reviews, counter bookings and WhatsApp enquiries. We don’t publish results we haven’t measured.
